This legend explains the icons and menus in the scheduling toolbar.
Stripboard
Selecting this header opens a drop-down menu of all the boards in the scheduling file. From this menu, you can:
- Navigate to the Stripboard Manager (you can delete a board by right-clicking it there and selecting "Delete").
- Select which stripboard is active in your file view.
- Click the plus (+) button to create a new board. This opens a window where you name the board and assign a calendar, layout, and color palette.
- Edit an existing board (rename it, or change its assigned calendar, layout, or color palette).
- Duplicate an existing board.
Calendars / Layouts / Colors
Selecting this header opens a drop-down menu of all calendars, layouts, or color palettes in the file. From this menu, you can:
- Navigate to the Calendar Manager, Layouts Manager, or Color Palette Manager.
- Choose which calendar, layout, or color palette to assign to your currently selected stripboard.
Element Manager
Opens the Element Manager, where all elements in the file are stored, sorted by category (cast, props, locations, units, and so on). From here you can manage each element and create new ones.
Element Links Manager
Opens the Element Links Manager, where you can create anchors and links between elements. For example, in every breakdown sheet that 1. Jane appears in, add Prop: Backpack; or for every breakdown sheet that contains a minor, add Additional Labor: Studio Teacher.
Events Manager
Opens the Events Manager, where you can add any of these events to an element:
- Flags
- Camera Tests
- Rehearsals
- School
- Fitting
- Travel
- Contractually obligated Start or Finish dates
Reports Manager
Opens the Reports Manager, where you can generate reports and apply filters. Report types include One-Liners, Shooting Schedules, Day Out of Days, Category-by-Day, and List. CSV and PDF exports are available for all reports.
