Does Cinapse use AI?

Yes. Cinapse now has its first live AI feature, Cinapse Production Intelligence. Everything else you do day to day is still powered by the app's standard, non-AI tools.

Cinapse Production Intelligence

Production Intelligence is an optional, opt-in, AI-assisted first pass at your script breakdowns. When you import a PDF or Final Draft script, you can choose to have it identify the elements in each scene (cast, props, costumes, stunts, and more), build your breakdowns in continuity order, and write a short synopsis for each scene, all shown alongside the original script so you decide what to keep.

It's a fast starting point, not a finished schedule: it does not board your shooting days, and it doesn't replace an assistant director reading the script. Your script is encrypted in transit and never used to train any AI model, and if you don't opt in, nothing is ever sent for AI analysis. It's available now in beta. Everything else uses standard tools

The rest of Cinapse, from building your stripboard to generating reports, is powered by the app's standard algorithmic tools, not machine learning or artificial intelligence. AI only comes into play when you choose Production Intelligence for a specific import.
