Layouts Manager

The Layouts Manager can be accessed through the drop-down along the top bar by clicking the “Manage” Button.

In the manager, existing layouts can be adjusted and new layouts can be created. You can also adjust your day break designs and settings for each layout.

Cinapse Scheduling provides two default layouts, one with estimated times and one without.

To tweak our existing templates, simply duplicate the Cinapse Scheduling layouts, and any piece of the strip layout can be changed to fit your production’s needs.

To start from scratch, simply click the “Create” button, name your new layout and start from a clean slate.

Designing the layout consists of 1) clicking on a box in the strip designer and 2) assigning what content you would like in that box.

You can drag the box to be larger or smaller, as well as assign the style alignment and size of the text. Don’t forget to design your Day Breaks for that custom layout as well!

To design specific day breaks for each layout, select that layout and then select the “Day breaks” Tab. From there you can decide the default daybreak settings for that strip layout - End of day, Start of Day, Total pages, Date, Day #, Time, as well as color, alignment and style.
