Reports Manager

Creating a new report

Selecting the printer icon on the far right of the top navigation bar brings you to the Reports Manager.

Select the blue “New report” button to get started.

A New Reports window will open for you to easily define the parameters for your Report.

  1. Select the report type
      • One-Liner
      • Shooting Schedule
      • DOODs
  1. Name the report
      • This name will populate at the top header of your printed report, as well as be the file name in the reports page.
  1. The report will automatically populate with the board you have active on the website. The layout and color palette currently assigned to that board will also pre-populate. You are able to change any of those selections from this window.
  1. Optional
      • If you choose, you can list the current script version & date.

From here you can:

  • Option A: Click the “Preview Report” button to open the Report in a new window.
    • Note: Some browsers will automatically download this report preview. This is a browser specific setting.
  • Option B: Click the “Save Report” button to save the Report file to your Reports Page. From the reports page you can View, Download, Rename or Delete the report by right clicking.

Refining reports

There are two main ways to refine your reports further, depending on your productions needs or requests from producers or department heads. One is by selecting only a specific range (e.g. D1-D10) and the other is by filtering the report by specific categories and elements.

Ranges

If you do not want to include the ENTIRE schedule in your report, you can print only certain date ranges (calendar dates) or certain shooting days (D1, D2, D3…).

Select in the drop-down under settings which type of range it is, and then Start and End Date or Shooting Day.

Filtering

Cinapse Scheduling allows for the revolutionary ability to FILTER your schedule by any category or element.

If you want to include the ENTIRE category click the box next to the Category name.

If you want a specific element within that category, expand it using the expand/collapse arrow.

This will open your list of elements and you can select individual elements to filter by from here.
