Pre-Shoot Days let you schedule work that happens before principal photography: the kind of thing you need to show on your board but that shouldn't count toward your overall principal photography day count. They're kept separate from your regular numbered shooting days.
Pre-shoot days are available on any plan.
Add a pre-shoot day
- Open the Calendar Manager.
- Select the day you want, then right-click it.
- Choose Assign pre-shoot day.
Remove a pre-shoot day
- Open the Calendar Manager.
- Right-click the pre-shoot day.
- Choose Remove pre-shoot day.
How they show up
Pre-shoot days don't roll into your principal photography day count. On the Day Out of Days (DooD), they appear as Pre 1, Pre 2, Pre 3, and so on, clearly separate from your numbered shooting days.
