Cinapse exports your reports and schedules in two formats: PDF (formatted and print-ready) and CSV (raw data you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, or bring into other tools). You export through the Reports Manager, so anything you can build as a report you can export, including the Shooting Schedule, One-Liner, Day Out of Days, Breakdown, Calendar, List, and Category-by-Day.
How to export
- Click Reports in the top navigation.
- Open or build the report you want (Create > New report), and save it.
- Right-click the saved report and choose Download as PDF or Export as CSV.
To print, download the PDF and print from there. For the full report builder (layouts, paper size, filters, and presets), see Reports Manager.
Choosing PDF vs CSV
- PDF: best for sharing a finished, print-ready schedule that looks exactly as designed.
- CSV: best for moving your schedule data into a spreadsheet or another program.
Moving data to other scheduling software
Cinapse imports files from Movie Magic Scheduling, Final Draft, and Scriptation, and exports to PDF and CSV. If you need to hand your schedule to another program, CSV is the format to use for structured data. See How do I import a script or schedule into Cinapse? for the full list of supported import types.
